The bowline knot and a rope knot!
One of the simplest ways to create a loop at the end of a rope.
The figure 8 knot is often preferred to this one, but the bowline knot nevertheless has many advantages.
Easier to execute than a figure eight knot, and above all easier to undo. Be careful, however, the bowline knot has a tendency to turn on itself and come undone on its own. It is therefore inconceivable to start once without having secured your bowline knot with a double stopping knot. Less bulky than a figure eight knot, it is sometimes preferred by double rope climbers.
